Cancellation and No-Show Policy
All requests for withdrawal must be received by CPS a minimum of 5 working days prior to course commencement date. Such requests must be made by phone or in writing to the registrar at the CPS Calgary office. Requests made by email and sent to registration@canadianparamedicalservices.ca will also be accepted.
Failing to provide at least 5 working days notice of your intention to withdraw will result in forfeiture of 50% of the course fee ($50 minimum) Students who withdraw after commencement of course or who fail to attend a course without notification (no-shows) will forfeit the full course fee. Qualified substitutions will be accepted up to the course commencement date in lieu of forfeitures.
CPS reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of registrants is not achieved, and make changes in course content as required. We will make every effort to notify students by phone or mail of cancellation in advance of commencement date.
Challenge an Exam
CPS strongly believes that information provided during our training courses is fundamental to the the learning process and therefore does provide the opportunity to challenge exams. However some exams for some courses may be challenged if the student has considerable training and sufficient work experience in the course topic.
